Nginx autotrace

Hi,

We would like to capture the traces of our nginx services.

For this we installed the necessary on our TKGI environment, but it seems that the autotrace is not functioning on a customized ingress-nginx image.


Since this is currently not supported, which was confirmed in a support ticket, they suggested to create a feature request.

Due to this, we are missing a lot of traces in our Instana monitoring.

    Hello,

    We did our investigation and since the nginx image itself is custom, and not just the label, It will not be possible for us to provide autotrace.

    Could you please check if you can use OpenTelemetry?
