Add a link/button from Instana dashboards to our documentation with the context

We can’t fix all possible issues that may happen in customer environments. But we can add a link/button pointing to our documentation from the service dashboards. For example, when we discover an postgres database service, but it shows no calls or needs any clarification. Users can quickly navigate to the documentation with explanations what and how to configure, read configuration notes and known issues.

    Hi Oleg,

This functionality currently exits for custom dashboards. Using the markdown widgets you can add links and other important notes to a dashboard.

Are you looking to have notes sections in each built-in dashboard? Please add more details to the request.

    Kind regards,
    Paras Kampasi
