Logging Amazon Kinesis to instana

Hello,

A few details about this feature.
It would be interesting to explore the possibility to connect from our Kinesis Data stream.

We currently push logs with Json format via Kinesis to elasticsearch.
The idea would be to be able to push these Json files to instana.

I'm guessing it would mean that the Json format would have to be parsed by instana.

I don't have enough informations at this point to provide you more details about this potential feature . i will come back to this ticket with further details in the future.

    Currently, Instana supports collecting AWS CloudWatch logs through the OpenTelemetry (OTEL) Collector.

    We would like to enable the collection of AWS CloudWatch logs directly from AWS Firehose as well.

    Background
    While AWS Metric Streams are already supported, collecting AWS CloudWatch logs currently requires a dedicated server to run the OTEL Collector.
    During a customer proof of concept (PoC), this requirement was met with some resistance because it adds infrastructure overhead.
    To avoid this becoming a barrier for future customer proposals, we would like to request a solution that enables CloudWatch log collection without the need for an OTEL Collector server.

Logging Amazon Kinesis to instana

Strategic feature request. Customer uses Amazon Kinesis to format logs in order to be readable for Kibana. They request instana to be able to ingress data logs from amazon kinesis.
