Customer would like the ability to apply a Lucene query or dynamic focus query to the Filter section of a custom dashboard widget. For example, one need for this would be for the Customer to set the country to "Oman" and also set the User ID to a wild card asterisk (*) so that they can see all of the user ids associated with the country "Oman" in the custom dashboard.

    Please review the last message from Josh. Will this satisfy your use case?
    Dashboard filters can address this need.

    We have an initiative in progress to add global filters to dashboards. This won't take the form of a lucene query, but it may meet the need being requested here.
