Close or surpress event based on condition

This is an enhancement/feature request re. capability to close events or suppress events based on conditions met, in order to have a (more) precise and flexible event duration rather than the default duration

    Hello Mate, there is a difference between events and please explain instana architectural roadmap. We are basically interested to mute events (on service level)

    Hello Mate, unfortunatly the smart alert configuration does not help in case of more complex conditions e.g. multiple conditions spanning over multiple services.
    Comment this multiple conditions are also missing in application perspective configuration. It would immensely help to have. No problem to share example showcasing. Best Regards, Christian

    We're focusing on enhancements to Smart Alerts and are not planning to add new capabilities to Custom events at this time. Smart Alerts conditions can be controlled very precisely and grace periods introduced recently further help with that.
    Manual close of events as well as Maintenance windows further help suppress unlying events, but generally fine tuning Smart Alert conditions should be the path to better represent accurate event durations.

    Certain parts of this request have been delivered in the meantime. Please let me know if there are cases where those are not sufficiently precise.
