There are no such things in Instana right now. It can help with resolving issues f.e. the pod is in the Running state but it's not working because of the missing or not working properly artifact.

What metrics are you referring to? We already do comprehensive Kubernetes monitoring with metrics for all layers of the Kubernetes stack. Is there something more the customer is hoping to see?
Another useful piece of info is what part of the describe output they actually use. Like what field do they look for?
Hi, yes, this may be helpful. I assume that this view will be also showing metrics and charts for 'kubectl describe pod' output right?
Hey! Thanks for the update. So is it sufficient for the customer if we provide an option through the UI for them to get a describe command output of the pod? In other words, next to a pod in the Instana UI, they can click a button which will go to the cluster and fetch the describe command output and display it in the UI?
Hi Jayanth, not sure if this will be helpful, but client says that they want to check f.e. the insides of pod with using kubectl describe pod command. They need that to prevent the errors before occuring them - to find out that something is wrong with the pod BEFORE the pod will get into an error status/the application won't be working properly
Hi Team, I created this AHA Idea, but unfortunately I am still waiting for a response from a client.
Hi, I'm following up here! The more information we have the better.
Hi @Guest ! Nice to meet you. I'm the PM for Kubernetes at Instana.
Could you elaborate some more on specific information you'd like to see? Maybe with a couple screenshots illustrating an example?
What artifact are you looking for? When you say shared storage, can you share an example? And regarding containers, we do monitor those today! Can you let me know what's missing?
