RELATED IDEAS

Events should not be closed automatically until the issue gets resolved

The events are getting auto-closed in Instana for all the metrics such as Jobs, CPU, etc. We want the event to be closed only if the issue is resolved in the next poll.

    Instana events are open as long as the triggering condition (eg metric violating threshold) is present. In case of one-off occurances like a crash reported, since the crashed state is not consistently present, these would than be closed.

    Since Built-in events are highly customized and tailored to the specific technology, additional conditions like grace period on Smart Alerts, are not possible to configure.
