After speaking with the UX team, this type of proactive, in-product messaging is a great idea and would like to enhance Instana's upcoming communications.
The team is actively adding reactive messaging to show changes (something you may notice very soon), however after following up with Instana marketing and the Product lead growth team, we unfortunately dont have this mechanism on the roadmap for the next year. Therefore, the status needs to be updated to Not under consideration. Please note this does not mean its not considered, it means its just not prioritized for this year only.

Hey @Guest - Im am speaking to UX designer @Emily Kim and PM @Vani Devi regarding upcoming work that might cover this use case. To confirm, is the announcement of information about changes in general, are specific to seeing this information within Instana itself?
Checking into this in terms of best practices.
The customer (Admin) have created an Instana screen operation manual in-house and are providing it to other customers (User).
They doesn't need to deal with minor modifications, but would like to announce major changes in advance.
And they want to avoid having other customers (User) say, “The screen operation manual is not correct."
We believe that two days or so in advance is sufficient to get the information in advance.
