Want to be able to enrich data based on the entities involved in an Incident and application

I'm working with a customer.  The use IBM ACE and MQ.  Whenever they have problems with an application or with MQ or ACE, they want to have a screen where they can see and compare some of the key metrics.

For example, they want to see the Input/Output rates on a IBM MQ queue and they want to see the data on the corresponding ACE Integration Server "Flow".  This helps them diagnose what is happening.  For example if the Flow I/O Rates are too low, then it might be the reason an MQ Queue is filling up.

We discussed a couple of possibilities.

  1. Ideally, they would want a way to enrich Incidesnts for specific MQ or ACE Events to add additional metrics to the Incident panels.   This would be the ideal situation because it allows them to diagnose wtihout leaving the Incident UI.
  2. If that's not possible, we were considering the possibility of including a link in the Incident that would take the person to a custom dashboard.   They key would be that dynamic filters would need to be applied on the dashboard.   Let's say Queue "ABC" has a problem and ACE Flow "XYZ" is using that queue.   The URL to link to the dashboard would pass in ABC and XYZ  and bring up a dashboard that is filtered to QUEUE "ABC" and Flow "XYZ".

There would likely be other metrics that they want to query.   For example, Host metrics.

One other thing that makes this a little more complicated is that there can be a 1 to many relationship between the Queues and Flows.  For example, multiple Flows can access a single Queue.  In this case, they would want to see metrics from all flows that access the Queue.
