To better understand the requirement, could you provide some additional context on the use case for viewing the complete process list on a host?
Today, observability platforms typically focus on highlighting the most relevant processes (for example, those consuming the most CPU or memory) to help users quickly identify potential issues. On some hosts, there may be thousands of running processes, so understanding how you intend to use the full process inventory would help us evaluate the request and determine the best approach.
A few questions that would help:
What specific problem are you trying to solve by viewing all processes on a host?
Is the requirement primarily for troubleshooting, compliance/auditing, application discovery, or another use case?
Would you need historical visibility of all processes, or only the current process inventory?
How frequently would you expect to access this information?
Any additional details or examples from your environment would be greatly appreciated.
