Support of IBM ACE on Windows

Supporting IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) on Windows for Monitoring

Adding support for monitoring IBM ACE on Windows would greatly benefit development and QA teams who primarily use Windows environments during local testing and early-stage deployments. It ensures consistency in observability from development through to production.

Why is it useful?
It enables end-to-end visibility into integration flows even during local development or in hybrid cloud environments. This helps in identifying issues earlier, improving development velocity and reducing deployment risks.

Who would benefit from it?

Developers running ACE locally on Windows

QA teams validating ACE flows

Organizations using Windows-based infrastructure in non-prod environments

Teams seeking consistent monitoring across environments

How should it work?
It should provide full monitoring capabilities (e.g., flow performance, errors, throughput) via the Instana agent for Windows, similar to existing support on Linux. The agent should be lightweight, easily configurable, and integrate seamlessly with the ACE runtime on Windows.
