Enable custom arguments (e.g. -C) for ud32 and allow running Tuxedo sensor scripts as application user

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

The current Tuxedo sensor implementation does not support passing custom arguments to ud32 (such as -C <client>), nor does it allow executing shell scripts (e.g. tuxedoShell.sh) as a specific OS-level application user. This causes problems in environments where:

  • Application users require explicit identification (-C) to communicate with Tuxedo

  • Required environment variables (e.g. APP_PW, TUXDIR, TUXCONFIG) are defined only in the application user’s shell environment

These limitations make the sensor unusable in secured or legacy setups where ud32 cannot run without -C, and the environment cannot be replicated without full login context (sudo -i -u <user>).

Suggested improvements:

  • Support for passing custom parameters to ud32, including -C

  • Option to run sensor scripts as a specific user (with full login environment)
