Enable Disk Filesystem Attributes (Filesystem Name, Used Space, Available Space) in Custom Payloads

Description:

We would like to request the ability to include detailed disk filesystem attributes in the custom payload of alerts — particularly when sending alerts via webhook for disk usage thresholds.

Currently, when we configure a custom alert for disk usage (e.g., usage > 95%), the webhook payload only supports basic attributes such as host.name or host.ip. However, it does not support important disk-specific details like:

  • Filesystem name (e.g., /var, /data0)

  • Used space (e.g., 95%)

  • Available space (e.g., 5GB)

These attributes are essential for downstream systems that rely on webhook alerts to automatically trigger disk cleanup, ticket creation, or capacity monitoring. Without these details, we must manually check the affected server, which reduces the effectiveness of automation.

We are requesting support for exposing these disk-related attributes in the custom payload template of alerts, similar to how host.name or agent.name are currently supported.
