Farmacias Guadalajara is requesting to extend the observability of additional metrics for Informix DB that will complement the current sensor funcionality..

Farmacias Guadalajara has hundreds of branches distributed across Mexican territory. All the transactions generated on each branch are processed by Informix central databases, so it is critical to monitor the full health of Informix technology. We had a meeting with customer last Friday 13th, June 2025, and they shared us the need to include additional metrics to the original ones that were released for the first version of the SDK sensor.

We are attaching a file with a categorized list of the desired metrics, highlighting with red color the ones that we consider are missing by the current sensor. In addition, we would like that the metrics could be categorized in the dashboard according to the colums they belong to (i.e. availability, state, system resources, sessions and users, locks and concurrence, general performance).

Finally, could be possible to include the capability to generate different kind of reports on these metrics, like PDF, CSV, HTML...

For your knowledge, Farmacias Guadalajara has Informix v12 and v14 running on Solaris 10 and Solaris 11.

    There is one more customer who needs this feature. We have a business opportunity in place and the PoC should demonstrate the integration with Informix. 
    SUNAT (National Superintendency of Customs and Tax Administration) is the Peruvian government agency responsible for managing and enforcing the country’s tax and customs systems. It ensures tax collection, promotes voluntary compliance, combats tax evasion and smuggling, and oversees the control of goods entering and leaving the country. SUNAT plays a key role in financing public services and maintaining fiscal order in Peru.
