Server/Agent-Level Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) in Instana

Hi Team,
Currently in Instana, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) can be applied at the Websites, Mobile Apps, Business Process and Applications etc... levels. However, there is no provision to assign access permissions at the server or agent level. As a result, any user granted infrastructure access is able to view and interact with all monitored agents—limiting control and flexibility in multi-team or multi-environment scenarios.

We would like to request a feature enhancement to the RBAC model that enables agent-level access control. This would allow administrators to restrict user visibility and management rights to only the agents or servers they are responsible for.

Agent configuration is a global permission as it can and will have impact to all users on the unit and can not be configured in isolation.
This is further planned to be part of the Owner role or managed globally for the whole unit.
