Need to be able to select which libs to attach to a pod

Dear colleagues,

we have a customer who runs hundreds of .net pods in a cluster and just a few ruby, nginx, nodejs... containers.

they actively use Autotrace Webhook. At the moment they reached the point where excessivve numebr of .Net applications are already instrumented and enabling NGINX instrumentation causes extra 500x66Mb = 33Gb of ephemeral storage, if we speak of enabling instrumentation for few Ruby containers will cost extra 75Gb. Assuming that normally nodes have 200Gb for ephemeral storage significant amount of it might be taken for instrumentation that is only needed during pod init state.

Please consider using only needed libs for instrumentation in order to save space for large clusters.

Thank you.

Managing on pod level is not acceptable for large Openshift Cluster.

or alternatively, can we use image with no extra libs, that is going to download needed libs from some source (internet or another container for instance)
