log instana api request origin e.g. host address

We have instana monitoring integrated with several tools consuming data from instana via Instana REST API.
It would very benificial to have logged either in audit log or/and in api token overview in instana the origin of api request with source ip/fqdn, source host, api endpoint etc.

    Hello Phani,
    it would be great to have optional config setting for either log
    a) all api requests are logged
    b) all external api requests (inclusive api-token configuration name used)
    c) all internal requests by Instana itself
    Log could include api endpoint, api token config. name, requestOrigin (host url), latency like time to response, (more?)
    It would be great to be able to set log api configuation via ui for tenant unit as admin

    Hello Christian,

    Thanks for raising this Idea.
    I would like to understand a bit more on the requirement.
    Would you like to have each and every API request audit logged ? That would be in the range of thousands per hour. Or are you interested in just a specific set of APIs to be audit logged ?

    I would like to learn more before i can make a decision on prioritising this idea.
