I want the default display when a user accesses the Team configuration which I configured

Currently, Instana allows you to restrict the screen visibility of users based on the settings assigned to a "Team." For example, you can display only specified apps, such as the Application Perspective.

However, the current default behavior is that "Default Scope" is always selected when a user logs in. While you can change the scope of a configured Team later,

I would like to restrict screen visibility to each user from the start. I would like the scope to be specified when a user logs in using the configured Team.

    I have found that if a user has a single team assigned the default scope is not visible. In such a case the single assigned team is the default scope and no other scopes are available to choose. However, if a user has 2 or more teams assigned the default scope becomes visible again and is the default selection. The other scopes are also available to choose.

    This doesn't seem to line up with your description of the expected behavior. Would you agree?

    • Default scope option is hidden when a user has no Roles assigned directly. (ie not a member of a role outside of a team)

    • The last selected team should be active on next logins

    Please let me know if this is not how it behaves for your users
