This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

Problem Statement:
In OpenShift environments, when a new application namespace is created, Instana does not begin monitoring or instrumentation for that namespace until the Instana agent is restarted on the cluster nodes.
In large OpenShift clusters (for example, 47+ worker nodes), restarting agents is a disruptive, operationally expensive activity that creates:
As a result, newly deployed applications may run unmonitored for extended periods, which undermines continuous observability and slows incident detection during critical early lifecycle phases. Current Behavior
