Failed to detect Integration Node failure

There is no way to detect Integration Node failure using either built-in or custom metrics in EVENT. The only way is to use "system rules - offline event detection" to trigger event right after Integration Node failure. However, several issues with this:

1. The offline event is automatically closed after the grace period expiration, even though the Infrastructure Node is still down.

2. The offline event does not seem to be opened/reopened if the Infrastructure Node down condition persists (it is a one-off).

3. There is no way to keep the offline event opened until the Infrastructure Node is started again using a condition based on system rules.

It would be great if Instana can expose related Built-In metrics available for Entity Type IBM ACE Integration Node. This will ease the monitoring setup while maintaining a proper event status after alert triggered.

    More ask
    4. As "time window" setting is not available for "system rules - offline event detection", there is no way to avoid false alert being triggered during scheduled change / maintenance.
    5. Other than Integration Node, I'm using similar approach to monitor JVM up/down. Please help to apply the same for JVM monitoring. i.e. There is no dedicated sensor for MQIPT, I need to use JVM as a workaround to monitor MQIPT process availability.
