Certificate expiration monitoring

Dear colleagues,

today many applications communicate in a secured channel, Instana has synthetic monitoring option that allows to monitor external websites, it covers internal communications partially, some self-signed certificates used to encrypt data packets that are being send over the network. Those certificates are still in files on a drive, in secrets of kubernetes or fields of a secret, including SAML integration between Access Manager app and Instana. Application communication depends on expiration dates and may affect the business service. Many customers will benefit from using possibility to prevent certificates expiration and avoid affecting a business application. There is a Certification Manager in kubernetes that can rotate secrets in time, but it is not that flexible to rotate certificates in a secret's field. In many cases customers use certificates on VMs where they stored as files on a drive or as part of configuration files.

Please consider introducing a certificate sensor, which can be configured to check certificate from secrets/certain field of a secret/configuration/files.
