Infrastructure Mapping for AWS Aurora/RDS instances

Currently we are facing the issue that for ex. AWS Aurora MySQL databases the infrastructure node is not mapped to the corresponding service in Instana.

In the application perspective we can see the traces to this database instance. However, on the infrastructure tab we only see one entry Unmonitored. In the infrastructure view the Aurora instance is available.

    Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your ideas with IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate the effort you put into outlining your experience, recommendations, and suggestions.

After careful evaluation, IBM has determined that this request cannot be implemented at this time, as it does not align with our current strategy.

However, if this idea becomes especially important for your business, you are welcome to reopen the idea at any time, and we will be happy to reconsider it. Thank you again for bringing your ideas to us. If you have any additional feedback, thoughts, or questions—or if there is anything else I can help with—please don’t hesitate to reply and continue the conversation.

    Best regards,

    Smitha
