Access audit logs to server to use in SPLUNK

Would like to have logs written to the server. As an on-prem customer, we keep tabs on the server and logs with Splunk. Go getting the audit log via the UI isn't the best solution for their use case.

Both access and audit logs are available through the API and can be used to store locally or forward to external log managers

While there are existing ways to export audit logs through APIs, we did already consider pushing action and audit logs to splunk for BCP and ease of use reasons.
No ETA yet, but audit logging improvements are considered in the next year.
