Support for Instana Backend on OpenShift

Openshift support is on our roadmap and definitely something we want to support at Instana. Beta is planned for Q2 and GA for Q3.

Hi the first batch of the Openshift closed beta is finished. Feel free to reach out to me, if you need to join the beta before GA/end of Q3 as outlined in my comment from March 21.

    Hi Madura,

you are correct, a more resilient and better documented HA setup for our K8s operator would need another idea. Please go ahead and create one (please see if there is overlap to INSTANA-I-170)

Internally, we have it on the roadmap already, but happy to surface it in AHA as well.

Would this also ensure High Availability? I mean can we implement application High Avalability through autoscaling and replica policies to ensure that Instana On-Prem complies to HA requirements asked on many enterprise RFPs?

If Not I'll create another idea for it.

Stripped customers names in initial request and converted to a public idea, so that we do not lose existing votes.
