Show all database traces even if they all succeed

We opened a case for missing database calls and learned how Instana works for successful calls. The engineering team sent us the following quote, "Span batching in general doesn't consider the payloads. The rules are based on span metadata like duration and timestamp differences. Once we merge two spans we prefer the data from a span with errors, or if the error count is equal (or zero) we prefer the longer span. There is no special handling for JDBC regarding batching. " https://support.instana.com/hc/en-us/requests/27716 However, the customer needs to see all database calls to trace all flow.

You can add the following to the agent configuration.yaml to disable the span baching.

    com.instana.plugin.javatrace:
    instrumentation:
    spanBatchingEnabled: false
