Custom dashboards: Copy or reference a widget from one dashboard to another

Background and context

When creating many custom dashboards there is often the need to re-use a widget from one dashboard to another. One example is when creating a summary dashboard where widgets are re-used from several more detailed dashboards.

Proposed new idea

To be able to copy a widget from one dashboard to another, much in the same way as it is possible to duplicate a widget within a dashboard.

Complementary or alternative implementation could be to have the ability to reference a widget from one dashboard to another. so that any change in the original widget is also reflected in the dashboard which is referencing that widget.

Let's meet to discuss your needs further Janos.
You can partially do this now by copying the relevant widget JSON from the source dashboard into the destination, but we understand there may be pain points here.
