Improving authentication between Netcool and SNOW

Security is a major concern for all IT application today. As per recommended security standard, authentication between applications using basic authentication is creating a risk of exposing the username and password to hackers and they can use the authentication to get access into the external systems.

Currently all IBM Netcool Gateway only support basic authentication which requires username/password to be specified in the configuration. 

Recommendation is to use oauth 2.0 protocol such as using a token so that unauthorised users wouldnt be able to access the application GUI without username/password.
