While WebSphere supports MFA redirection but WebGUI is not tested nor supported

Currently WAS Security configurations (such as authentication) are strictly configured at the WebSphere level.  From our discussion with our WAS team we understand now that for MFA, Websphere would only need to be  configured to redirect to either an OIDC or an IDP (for SAML SSO) by configuring a trust association interceptor (TIA)."

PER IBM BUT:  As stated earlier, WebGUI/DASH Development has not tested MFA.  There is no documentation available from WebSphere either beyond the authentication documentation provided above.

PER IBM: WebGUI/DASH Support and Development has not tested MFA and therefore has no expertise to assist with any issues you might encounter. Should you encounter and issue with MFA that would require code changes in WebGUI/DASH to address, you would be referred to IBM's ideation site to open a request for enhancement to address the issue
