Extract Original Logs from Log Anomaly Detection Result for Automation

AIOps is currently performing Log Anomaly Detection, displaying detected logs in patterns

The customer requires access to the original logs for further automation. For instance, in the case of network device anomalies, they need to do interface reset based on a specific interface indicated in the logs. However, because the logs are displayed in a patterned string format such as <*><*><*><*> (see atttached: get_alerts_API_results_0.png), it becomes impractical for subsequent automated device repairs via runbooks.

Please support AIOps in capturing the original logs at the time of Log Anomaly Detection for use in subsequent automation.

    Per guidance from colleagues:

    Golden Signals pipeline

    • Once the alert is generated we show only 10k logs.

    • We cannot show ALL logs that matched to a template, considering the scale of logs.

    Legacy Log Anomaly pipeline

    • The logs associated with templates are NOT shown in the alert viewer.

      • That feature is only present in the ChatOps (slack / teams ) interface.

      • In the ChatOps interface, we show only a small sample of logs associated with each template that is involved in the alert (just about 5-10 logs).

      • These logs might or might not capture the exact logs one would look for.

    • There is a button which will extract 10k logs in that time period, which can be exported as csv, but this would be across (for example) the five templates in an alert and not just a specific one.

There is a launch aggregator button to view all the logs from the alert, this is applicable to both pipelines.
