AIOps should support display of pre-existing grouping

In the 25 years or so that Netcool has been around, there have been developed several means by which events can be correlated and grouped, not only by us, but by customers alike.

It is obvious that rather than try and replace with AI/ML we should be adsorbing and consolidating groupings.

… but not by
obfuscation of those results or by switching them off- nor by tagging them with a replacement scopeID so that they fit in with SuperGrouping.

Instead, we should take and preserve the grouping information and incorporate it as was into the AlertsViewerthereby allowing the users to see their tried and tested groups.

Optionally allow the synthetic parent alarm to be analysed by AIOps and potentially rolled into the new set of analytics providing a contextual bridge between the two.
