This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This also affects the Hold On condition. An incident policy can have multiple IF conditions, for example:
In a real scenario, we receive 2 Major alerts first, followed by 1 Critical alert. The incident’s story is built on the first matching condition (2 Major) and doesn’t re-evaluate when the Critical alert is grouped in. As a result, the incident keeps waiting the full 15 minutes instead of switching to the 5-minute Hold On that the Critical alert should trigger.
So the issue impacts both the Hold On timing and the priority (P#) of the incident, not just the priority at creation.
Rather than creating separate incidents, we’d expect a hierarchy of conditions within the same incident: when a newly grouped alert matches a higher-severity condition, the incident should re-evaluate and apply the more urgent Hold On and priority. An alternative would be to track parallel stories within the same incident based on each IF condition, with the most severe one taking precedence.
