User to be able to add manual tag in the main GUI against an ALERT or INCIDENT (Not on the underlying details)

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

The Manual Ticket Tagging RFE involves the following enhancements:

  • Tagging Alarms: Users should be able to manually tag alarms with specific information, such as ticket numbers or other identifiers, directly within the system. This is particularly useful when the automated system is down or when tickets are created manually. 1

  • Editing Alerts/Incidents: Users should have the ability to edit alerts and incidents to update or remove ticket numbers. This includes associating alerts with different incidents if necessary. Note: the ability requested here is really to edit the values of custom attributes as well (as those native schema fields where it makes sense).

  • Custom Right-Click Actions: Implementing custom right-click actions that allow users to add or edit custom fields and attributes in alerts and incidents. This would enable users to input human-readable notes or tags that can be displayed in the GUI for better visibility and tracking. 3

These enhancements aim to improve the flexibility and usability of the system by allowing users to manage ticket information more effectively and ensure that relevant details are easily accessible.
