Application Definition within Cloud Paks Resource Manager

Regarding an application it will be requested to filter events, which are affecting the resource itims. Not every event from a node is coloring the resource within an application ...
Background:
I create an geo spatial view with cable modem termination systems (CMTS) on it. Now I'd like to create an application called "DOCSIS". And the service will be bad, if cablemodems will get offline, Signal to Noise is low or Post Correction Error Rate is high. These alerts should be considered. But everything else not, for example temperature alerts, BGP, link status alerts, ...
Finnally I could see an this geo spatial view, where the service is bad and where it is good.
If all alerts will be considered, such a view will be permanently red. And that makes no sense.

With such a requested capability, we could consider different service views / service models "light". For instance for mobile telefony services, cable access, fiber access, dsl access. I guess, it will be good to sell that to the management but will make sense for the operations team too.
