Ingesting metric data from IBM SevOne

Background

In environments where IBM AIOps is deployed with IBM SevOne, there is a need for network performance metrics (latency, utilization, loss, errors, etc.) available in AIOps for correlation and automation. Today, there is no native metric integration path between SevOne and AIOps.

Problem Statement

No supported SevOne to AIOps metrics ingestion, limiting performance-based correlation and enrichment.

This creates a gap in the IBM observability portfolio, since SevOne is the primary network performance tool.

Proposed Enhancements

1) Native SevOne Metrics Connector

Provide an out-of-the-box integration to ingest selected SevOne KPIs into AIOps with mapping, tagging, and rollups.
