Improve the Alert Contextual Menu user interface by adding scroll support, proper layout structure, and clear navigation cues so users can easily view and navigate all available filter options.

In the Alert Contextual Menu, the list of available filter options does not display a scroll bar and lacks proper indentation or visual navigation cues between sections or pages. As a result, only a subset of available filters is visible at any given time.

Although the filter functionality itself works as designed, the current user interface significantly limits discoverability and usability. Users cannot see the complete set of available filter options unless they already know the exact filter names and manually search for them. This creates a poor user experience, particularly for new users or during exploratory troubleshooting and alert analysis.

The absence of scrolling, visual hierarchy, and navigation indicators makes it difficult to:

  • Browse and understand all available filter options

  • Navigate between filter sections or logical groupings

  • Discover new or less frequently used filters

Enhancing the Alert Contextual Menu UI with:

  • A visible scroll bar

  • Clear indentation and grouping

  • Visual navigation cues between sections or pages

would greatly improve usability, filter discoverability, and operational efficiency. This enhancement would benefit operators, SREs, and support teams by enabling faster alert analysis and reducing reliance on prior knowledge of filter names.
