Introduce native support for automatically materializing device-to-device connectivity relationships from underlying port and interface connectivity to enable more effective path-based event correlation and probable cause analysis.

Current topology models represent connectivity primarily through ports, interfaces, and sub-interfaces. However, event correlation and probable cause analysis often operate at the device level. Because alerts are not directly correlated to the underlying connectivity components, path-based correlation is unable to consistently identify and group related alerts across connected devices.

The proposed enhancement is to automatically derive and materialize device-to-device relationships from existing connectivity information within the topology. These relationships would represent direct dataflow paths between devices while preserving the underlying detailed connectivity model. By providing explicit device-level connectivity, correlation algorithms can operate on a simplified and more relevant topology view, improving the effectiveness of path-based correlation and downstream probable cause determination.

In addition to improving event correlation, pre-materialized device-to-device relationships can be leveraged in topology visualization, reducing the need for runtime relationship calculations and enabling faster element-level connectivity views.
