Display Owner Name Instead of User ID in Alert Details After Ownership Assignment

In the Alert Viewer page (AIOps), when a user takes ownership using:

  • Right-click → “Take Ownership” (OOB tool), or

  • “Assign Owner” option

the Alert Details panel does not display the owner’s name. Instead, it shows only the User ID.


Current Behavior

  • Ownership actions work correctly (ownership gets assigned).

  • In the Alert Information/Details section:

    • Owner is displayed as User ID (e.g., uid12345)

    • User-friendly display name is not shown

Expected Behavior

  • After ownership assignment, the Alert Details should display:

    • ✅ Owner Display Name (e.g., Krishna)

    • Optionally include User ID in tooltip or secondary field

Business Impact

  • Reduced usability and readability for operators

  • Difficult to quickly identify actual owner during incident handling

  • Impacts operational efficiency in war-room / high-severity scenarios

  • Inconsistent with UI best practices (most sections show display names)

Enhancement Request

  • Update Alert Details UI to resolve and display User Display Name instead of raw User ID

  • Ensure consistency across:

    • Right-click ownership assignment

    • Assign Owner action

    • Alert overview and detail panels
