SHA-256 and above, AES-256 and above supports are required in MTTRAPD probe

SNMP V3 is configured to accept traps from vRealize Operations Manager 8.2.

vRealize Operations Manager 8.2 supports Authentication algorithms SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512 and Privacy algorithms AES192, AES256.

SHA-256 and above, AES-256 and above supports are required in MTTRAPD probe to configure with Authentication and Privacy protocol to meet customer security guidelines.

I am submitting this enhancement request to develop the support for SHA-256 and above, AES-256 and above.

    Please reopen this RFE to develop support for SHA-256 and above, AES-256 and above. This should include SHA-512.

    SHA-512 is not supported in current version of probe.

    The existing Mttrapd Probe provides support for SHA256 authentication type and AES256 privacy protocol.
