Resynch Policies in Memory without Restart

We have experienced corruption in the [ /opt/IBM/tivoli/impact/etc/SERVER_policylist ] files between cluster nodes on several occations. In order to resolve this we have been forced to do the “createPolicyList.sh” or “rebuildPolicyList.sh” and both of these currently require a restart for the file to be reread into memory.

We are asking that an enhancement be made which would allow us to do a soft-refresh to read this into memory without requiring the hard application restart (which requires change control and an actual outage).

Note: Kind of like kill -HUP for reading the new probes rules into memory.
