This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

our customer is using Netcool for Electric power outage analysis, but the performance of the process cannot be improved due to the memory limit.
Issue: The outage analysis process consists of the event enrichment process and the analysis process. The performance of the event enrichment process can be improved by increasing resources and tuning the number of threads.
On the other hand, for the analysis process, there is no effect of increasing resources or tuning the number of threads, and as a result, the performance of the outage analysis process cannot be improved.
We know the limit of the processing performance because the processing after hibernate is processed by a single server.
In this situation, when the number of events increases, the memory limit of 2GB has become a bottleneck because there are more events being processed than events being deleted.
We have summarized the situation as follows.
-Need to aggregate events on a pair of object servers for outage analysis
-Impact server performs outage analysis (enrichment + analysis)
-Processing time is limited to a maximum of 9 minutes.
-The number of events an object server can hold becomes a constraint as processing performance increases
