Single synthetic event to be generated on non-occurrence of events related to the seasonal event

We are looking at a load shedding scenario where multiple events are generated in case of power failure. We want all of these events to be suppressed whenever they occur at a particular time. This scenario is working as expected. However, if these events don't occur within that time, multiple synthetic alarms are getting generated for related events selected for a seasonal event. For a single cause of power failure, multiple synthetic alarms are generated on non-occurrence. This is loading the object server with multiple alarms for a single cause of failure. We want just a single synthetic event for the original seasonal event and no synthetics should be generated for the events related to the seasonal events.

The synthetic event creation on non-occurrence of events should work as per the following scenarios

1) Scenario: No expected events arrive in the period covered by the seasonal rule:

Current functionality: A synthetic event is created for the event from which the rule was created AND ALL related events.

Desired functionality: A single synthetic event is created, only for the event from which the rule was created

2) Scenario: One (or more) related events arrive, but the event from which the rules was created does not:

Current functionality: A synthetic event is created for the event from which the rule was created AND ANY missing related events.

Desired functionality: No additional synthetic events get created.

3) Scenario: ONLY the the event from which the rule was created arrives:

Current functionality: A synthetic event is created for ALL related events.

Desired functionality: No additional synthetic events get created.
