This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Your description is correct.. You want to be able to search for a blocks name or type. For example, looking for my use of ForwardNetworks/ListDevices. Making it faceted makes it more then just a string match..
block:ldapsearch would match the block type ldapsearch not a block named ldapsearch_1
name:email would match a block name containing email not an common/email block
Discussed the case where a certain block has been used in a flow, and a user desires to find the flow containing that block for reference. Today, a user must push all flows to git and search the YAML files for the block in order to locate that flow.
A user should be able to search for a block name (e.g. "ListBuckets" or "Email" or "Common/Email") while viewing a flow folder and be able to find all the flows containing the given block both within that flow folder and its subfolders.
@Guest We are in the process of adding the ability to search into subfolders in the workflows list. Would adding block names to that search meet the need here, or do we need to add more options? If more is needed, could you describe the way you would like to be able to use it?
We have half of this today.
When editing a flow, Ctrl-F will open a search box that will string search all parts of the whole flow.
A deep search for content within workflows from the Flow Browsing UI remains in the backlog.
