Thanks for raising this idea. As mentioned in the support case, we are collecting Interface stats using APIs and doing the mapping for Interfaces to Flows based on the ifIndexes received.
There are no metrics available via APIs for Sub interfaces today . If we are sending flows from sub interfaces and there are no Objects to map this to, these will show up as ifIndexes in your Flow interface manager.
To get around this problem, you may enable SNMP monitoring for these edges as well so that the mapping of sub interfaces to Flows will happen automatically.
As an example, I am showing you an environment with SNMP enabled where Flows get mapped to the sub-interfaces correctly. (Gi 4.1)
