Adding Maintenance Window for Object/Object Group

We currently have the capability to add maintenance windows for devices in SevOne. However, we need to extend this functionality to specific interfaces or objects. We request the addition of Maintenance Windows at the object level, allowing for maintenance scheduling for individual objects or object groups.

This enhancement would significantly improve our ability to manage maintenance activities more precisely and efficiently. Below are the detailed benefits of this feature:

  • Improved Flexibility: Enables targeted maintenance on specific parts of a device without affecting the entire device. This is particularly useful for large devices with multiple interfaces or components.

  • Minimized Downtime: By scheduling maintenance at the object level, we can reduce the impact on overall network performance and availability. Only the specific objects undergoing maintenance will be affected.

  • Enhanced Reporting: Provides more accurate and detailed reporting on maintenance activities. This granularity helps in tracking the performance and availability of individual objects.
