This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Useful For debugging.
To know details such as , what action was performed at which time by which user.
Sample API log required:
<User> <Time> <Request Type> <URL> <Status> -
<admin> <10:45:00 IST> <POST> <https://hk_hkg_meg_na_mgt_dnc_01.sc.net/api/v3/devices> <200>
Similarly need logs for all actions performed from GUI as well.

Thanks for submitting this idea. Currently access logs are available from the CLI, primarily from /var/log/nginx/access.log
This log records all UI and API based user interactions. While it doesn't record in the exact format you referenced, it is very close. Here's an example:
/var/log/nginx/access.log:249:123.123.123.123 - - [27/Mar/2025:02:06:23 +0000] "GET /api/v3/health/version HTTP/1.1" 200 161 "-" "axios/1.4.0"
You'll notice in the example above that the user ID or user name is not recorded for every action. Instead, all activity is tracked back to an IP address.
If you're looking for additional verbosity you can change the environment variable for API logging to debug though this may result in too frequent log rotation to be useful. Here's how: In /SevOne/appliance/settings/soa.env add LOG_LEVEL=debug
Please let me know if this helps. If there are specific written requirements behind this request, like an RFC, please provide that reference.
