Hostname For Outbound SMTP Connections Should Be Configurable

The current implementation of php SMTP mailer does not set the hostname for the HELO message, which results in Message-IDs ending with 'localhost.localdomain'. This cannot be changed, and may result in the alert mailer not working under some SMTP server configurations. A user shall be able to specify a specific name to use when connecting to mail servers or he shall be able to set the system to autodetect the FQDN of the system sending the mail and use that as the host name.
