"with the policy that caused it" is in reference to the log lines similar to: "thread_conditionhandler: !!! Could not convert condition value from Number to dB.". iI would like to know what policy or threshold that is referring to.

We've already finished work on a new self-monitoring metric for our SevOne appliances in NMS 8.0 that will track all of the checkmate statistics each time checkmate runs. This will allow for historical analysis of checkmate performance for troubleshooting, as well as development of alerts for pro-active and reactive action.
I'm not sure about your additional details about seeing this in the Policy Editor or "with the policy that caused it" means. I'm happy to continue discussing via this Idea or to meet you sometime for a Teams meeting to review your use case at a higher level.
