Data Insight - Visualization of HTTP/S Routes - Reporting

Wanted to know if there was a way to display the traceroute that the HTTP poller uses in SevOne NMS, and if it can be displayed in a widget within DI.

The idea is that we would be able to monitor the routes of 443 traffic internal to their geolocations. We can run traceroutes from our peers to those sites, but it would be nice if the HTTP pollers displayed the route taken to collect their webpage data.

Hi Jacob - Firstly, thank you for taking the time to bring this idea to our attention.

Yes - this is a cool idea! We have some similar ideas in our queue already so I'll get this input added.

One question for you to complete the story - is displaying the traceroute enough? Would you want to trigger some form of alert on it? e.g. if the route changes or if the number of hops changes? What would be useful for you.

Look forward to hearing your response.

    Kind Regards,
    Rupert
