Idea Request – Enhancements for Forecast Report in DI

Hi Team,

Could you please consider the following enhancements for the forecast report in DI:

1. Projected Trend Options

In NMS TopN report under Trending, when we choose Projected, we have multiple options such as:

• Next Week
• Next Month (30 Days)
• Next Three Months (90 Days)
• Next Six Months (180 Days)
• Next Year (365 Days)
• Next Specify

However, in DI for projected trend, we currently have only one option where we specify the number of days to project.
Idea: Can we have a similar view in DI as we have in NMS, with predefined duration options?

2. Dynamic Forecast Duration

In DI, the forecast report should ideally display the projected trend for the same duration as the selected historical period. For example:

• If we select data for the past month, the report should show the trend for the next month.
• If we select the past week, the next week’s trend should be displayed.
• If we select the past year, the report should include the forecast for the next year.

Idea: Implement dynamic forecast duration based on historical selection.

3. Seasonal Forecasting

When will seasonal forecasting be available in DI? Is this planned for any upcoming release?
Currently, we have the option to get forecast values quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly with a single forecasted value.
Idea: Instead of a single forecasted value for all upcoming months, can we add month-wise forecasted values in DI?
