This is an IBM Automation portal for Cloud Management, Technology Cost Management, Network Automation and AIOps products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

No sir - what we do as a Telcom is identify our circuits throughout our devices. So a customer might go from Location A -> B and touch four devices in that path - their circuit (or service) is identified by an internal ID of ours. So it gets placed onto the devices in some manner (maybe its on the physical interface at the customer handoff - maybe its a sub interface in our MPLS configuration, etc) but if we want to know what devices this circuit touches we used to be able to use the global search to pick up that descriptor. Obviously this hinges on us doing our jobs and labeling things properly within device configurations as well.
Thanks for the suggestion, we are actively looking for avenues to bring this functionality into DI, so stay tuned. I'm curious though, when you mention you searched using IDs in the NMS, do you mean you were using device IDs from SevOne or another ID?
